Dowse Projects provided Project Management services for the delivery of the Wreckyn Street development in North Melbourne, a purpose-built student accommodation facility operated by UniLodge, providing affordable accommodation without sacrificing social lifestyle. Multiple communal areas and study zones support interaction and communication among residents.

Accommodation options are predominantly self-catered apartment-style living with ensuites and kitchenettes to individual rooms, complemented by multi-share cluster apartments offering an alternative communal living arrangement with shared amenities. A large common games room opens onto a central landscaped courtyard at ground floor, encouraging student interaction, while study rooms and lounges throughout each level provide quiet relaxation zones.

A music room, gym and street-fronting retail activate the Wreckyn Street interface, delivering a vibrant living environment with quality communal areas and a sophisticated architectural design outcome that complements the Melbourne university precinct.
