UniLodge Elizabeth Street

Dowse Projects was engaged as project manager for Unilodge’s development at 480 Elizabeth Street, one of the tallest purpose-built student accommodation projects in the world, located in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD.

The self-catered apartment-style development offers a variety of accommodation options, from self-contained studio apartments to multi-share apartments and twin-share rooms. Facilities include flexible study spaces, a sky lounge with sweeping views of Melbourne city, and a range of entertainment areas including a wellness centre, lounges, music, craft and games rooms, and a cinema room, all supporting social activity and community engagement alongside students’ academic studies.

Designed by NettletonTribe, Dowse Projects was engaged after construction commencement to manage the remaining design documentation, construction and defects liability phases. From the outset, robust and collaborative stakeholder relationships were established, which proved fundamental to the successful delivery of the project and its performance requirements.
