UniLodge Lincoln House

Dowse Projects provided Project Management services on behalf of the University of Melbourne and UniLodge for the delivery of Lincoln House, the first Student Halls of Residence in Carlton.

From the outset, the project has sought to achieve affordability for students amid Melbourne’s expanding CBD, while maintaining a high standard of inclusivity and belonging. The development accommodates a population of 579 students in a college-style format, with a range of shared common spaces supporting a variety of social functions.

Opened in 2020, Lincoln House rises 14 levels and offers park views over the iconic Lincoln Square, combining dormitory-style living with state-of-the-art communal areas that support students in a high-performing environment. Facilities include a rooftop garden, courtyards, a gym and quiet study rooms, all conveniently located just four minutes’ walk from the University of Melbourne’s main Parkville campus.
